The valve is a single-seated globe type design that combines pressure reduction and de-superheating functions into one integrated solution. High-pressure, high-temperature steam entering the valve is first reduced to the desired downstream pressure. Immediately afterward, finely atomized spray water is injected into the steam flow, reducing the steam temperature to the specified level.
PRDS Valves are widely used in power plants, process industries, refineries, petrochemical facilities, and utility steam systems where precise steam conditioning is essential for operational efficiency and equipment protection.
